It was time for Emily's bath. Brendan and Megan were in bed and quiet, so I was trying to be stealthy so they didn't rouse and come into the bathroom (for some reason, Emily getting a bath is cause for excitement in our house.) As I was carrying Emily to her bath, we passed a full-length mirror. This mirror first elicited shrieks of horror from Emily (at two months) then staring (at three months) then smiles (at four months). At four-and-a-half months, this is what happened as we passed by... (I asked Brad to bring the videocamera after she did this for a couple minutes...that's usually the end of anything cute because they get distracted by the camera itself...but this time she was so amused that she didn't even notice!)
