The Montevideo t-ball program has one evening game session each year. On Brendan's evening game night we had Brad's parents come over and we all headed over to watch. I missed most of the game because Emily decided she had to eat right then, but I got to see him hit a couple and do some fielding. Afterwards, the kids enjoyed some popcorn in Gene and Mary's new jeep (Mary's new mail car...she's a postal worker) and played a little t-ball.
Brendan's team (in the brown shirts) didn't have enough players that night, so they combined with the yellow team. Above, they're fielding (Brendan's in the bright blue shorts and Twins cap.)
After I was done nursing in the car, I brought Emily out and Mary held her for me so I could take some pictures.
Megan alternated between watching the game and playing in the general area.
Watching a low-flying airplane.
Brendan hit a home run (even though you're supposed to only take one base, Brendan decided he wanted to actually run out his home run...it was kinda funny. Above, he's headed for home!
After the game it's tradition for my kids to run the bases...so here they go!
Enjoying popcorn in the new jeep.
She's fed and burped and someone's paying attention to her...life couldn't get better!
The new jeep.
Megan's turn at t-ball.
