Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins last night. It only took a couple of hours...and Megan screaming because she didn't want to touch the "yucky" insides (she was a little upset, but it was so funny!)...and a snack before bedtime because they were hungry from all the work (you know...the work it takes to repeatedly urge me to carve faster). When we were all done, we lit the pumpkins, shut off all the lights, and listened to Megan exclaim over and over "They're spooky!" It was a wonderful (if late) night.
