Becky and Dean's June 2010

Our good friends, Becky and Dean, invited us over to see their animals again. So, one evening after supper we loaded up the kids and drove the mile or so to go and see them. Megan had never been to their farm before, and she loved it...and of course the rest of us did too! We got to meet their calves (Oh, how I miss the days of bottle-feeding calves!!), their new goats, and all the sheep. They walked us through their massive gardens, let Brendan climb all over their tractor, and were even kind enough to insist that we take a few samples from their garden home with us. We love visiting them, and this was no exception!

Becky, who works at Goldleaf with Brad, holding Megan while we check out their lamb pen.

Dean laying out some hay so the sheep come closer to us.

Brendan and Brad, watching all the sheep.

Brendan on his beloved tractor.

Showing us their gardens (all along the left and the right, as well as the greenhouse.) They also have other sites that they garden in, and Dean sells his veggies, chickens, and flowers through a program they run.

Thank you for sharing with us! Beautiful flowers, beets, garlic chives, a sweet pepper, and a cucumber...not to mention the raspberries they gave to the kids. You guys are wonderful!
