Sherry & Donnie's Wedding

Brad's cousin, Sherry Reiffenberger, married Donnie Miller this past weekend in Watertown, SD. It was a huge family gathering and we had a wonderful time at the wedding, the reception, and visiting with family the next day. We stayed overnight at the hotel, so the kids had plenty of time to swim. Even Megan, who has traditionally disliked the water and anything to do with swimming, had a blast swimming with her cousins (so hopefully I can de-tangle her from me this coming summer when we go swimming, as she never wanted to be put down last summer.) I think the kids spent about three hours swimming together on Sunday morning alone. Boy, does that make you realize you're older than you want to be...

The hotel had a great water slide where the kids could slide down a frog's tounge. Above, Megan and I watched Charlie go down the slide and we're waiting to watch Brendan go next.

Our family. I couldn't stop laughing because Megan wouldn't quit picking her nose. The more I asked her to, the more she laughed and kept doing it. So there you go!

Megan during the dance. She didn't want to dance with anyone, she just wanted to listen to the music and sway by herself...little Miss Independent.

The dance floor during the reception. The kids all had light-up necklaces and bracelets, and there were tons of people dancing. We all had a great time!

The kids were very nice and slept in the next morning. We had pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and watched Mickey's Clubhouse on cable.

The rest of Sunday morning was spent visiting with family (down in the courtyard below.) The kids swam, ate, and played and the adults visited, watched kids, and ate. We really enjoyed getting to see some of the Reiffenberger relatives we hadn't seen for awhile.
