Below is the ultrasound profile picture of Baby Koosmann #3 that was taken on Monday. Baby is weighing 9 oz and measuring at about 19 weeks. It was wonderful to see baby moving around, crossing his/her legs, and making sucking motions with his/her mouth. We didn't find out the sex (the tech turned the monitor away or I would have been tempted to try to find out for myself...even though I really do want to wait.) Brendan and Megan came along to the ultrasound and they thought it was pretty neat...for the first two minutes anyway. Brendan inched up to my side little by little, then grabbed my hand and kept stroking my face. I laughed and told him the ultrasound didn't hurt, but he made me melt a little with his sweetness. The kids have switched their gender preferences (Megan now wants a sister and Brendan wants a brother.) One way or another, one (yes, Mom, I said ONE) of them is right!
