Jim & Laura's

We headed to our college friends' (Jim & Laura's) house in Fargo and got to meet their 6-month old son, Josiah, for the first time. We had a blast...lots of baby bonding, the guys got to play some golf, we went to the pool and the playground and we got to spend more than a couple minutes visiting (which is all we normally manage without being face-to-face.) Thanks for your hospitality, Jim & Laura!

Brendan was completely taken with Josiah. He constantly wanted to hug him and play with him. He was pretty gentle too, for the most part. And the best thing was...all the new toys to play with for the weekend!!

Josiah's first trip down the slide!

Oh, boy! Here I come!

We ran the bases at the attached baseball field. I know, I know...we're running them backward...but we had already run them the correct way and Brendan decided to turn around and keep on going!

We went to the local pool and it had a great area for younger kids (Brad included!)

Laura and Josiah, getting used to the water.

The water was warm and the breeze was cool. Every once in awhile a gust would come up that would make Brendan stop and shiver.

Brendan got pretty curageous about heading into the deeper water. He even went under a couple times (boy, that's scary the first time it happens!) Gotta get his life jacket on!

Brendan and Jim had some bonding time too. Of course, it helped that Jim had a cherry snow cone that he shared with Brendan!

Josiah was pooped out from all the activity and took a little nap in Laura's arms.

Our poor guys needed a nap from their busy day of playing golf, playing at the pool, and watching baseball. Such a hard life!

A great picture of Josiah...just playing, playing, playing.

Happy Father's Day, Dad! We love you!
