At Crea Farm

After part of the week at Jill's, Brad, Brendan and I headed out to the Crea Farm. We spent Saturday riding the lawn mower and visiting our neighbor's farm to see the animals. Saturday night Brad and I went to my 10-year high school reunion and Papa, Nona and the aunties got to babysit. Sunday we went to church, visited Julie, D.J. and Alex for a few minutes and had a huge steak lunch. Then we headed back home. It was a busy, busy week, and we had a great time.

The very first thing Brendan did when we got to the farm (after finally waking up) was to jump on the lawn mower with my dad. They drove all around the yard and out to the barnyard. Brendan got lots of "guy" time in this weekend...he "helped" Papa in the machine shed and witnessed changing oil in the car. He also ate a HUGE steak lunch. We couldn't believe how much steak this little guy could put away!

Look, Mom! Greasy hands!
Brendan did show his true Koosmann colors though. My dad said that when he took Brendan into the machine shed Brendan pointed all around and kept saying "Mess!"

We visited our neighbor's farm and checked out all the animals. Here, Brendan is having a face-to-face with one of their horses.

Brendan and Zizzi Cathy checking out the chicks.

While we were out in the field meeting the animals, a tractor went by, which definately caught Brendan's attention.

Brad and Brendan's turn on the lawn mower.

A cute cuddle picture with Brendan and Zizzi Liz.

Brendan playing with toys inside, just hanging out.

After running around outside we discovered a little green friend crawling on Brendan. He just watched it crawl around for awhile...

...then he and I put it back outside. We had a great time, and really appreciated everyone watching Brendan while we were at the reunion. Thanks!
