Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween!
With love, Brad, Noelle, Brendan and Megan

Brendan was going to be a scarecrow for Halloween. I got the costume after Halloween last year and tried it on him. It barely fit. Bummer. We took some pictures anyway (he is actually smiling in this picture)...

...and then decided on a fireman costume that Brendan got from my cousins Rebecca, Matthew and Nicholas. The costume was a little big for him, but that allowed us to layer him up underneath. This is Brendan as we are headed out for some treat-or-treating at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He only lasted five houses and then announced "Enough candy!" Since I'm avoiding chocolate because of nursing, the less candy around the house the better, so it was fine with me!

This is how Megan spent Halloween. Little kitty cat all snuggled up and napping. She was going to be a bee for Halloween, but only woke up to eat and quickly open her eyes for Chuck, Korinne, Chad and Cody. Then back to more sleeping. (Thanks for letting us borrow the outfit, Jason & Tami!)

We stopped by to visit with Brad's Aunt Korinne, Uncle Chuck and cousin's Chad and Cody. They had a cute little Halloween gift bag for Brendan, and in it was a Halloween horn noisemaker. Brendan loved it, and is finally old enough to force enough air through it to make the noise. He'd had a couple pieces of candy at this point, and was tired, so he thought the horn was HILARIOUS and would practically fall over laughing each and every time he blew it. Here he is blowing his horn for the trick-or-treaters that came to the door.
