A Wonderful Weekend

For a little change of pace, we headed to Jill and Chuck's for a relaxing, fun-filled, cousin-filled weekend.

Alyssa, Megan, and a very happy Emily, enjoying a homemade smoothie popsicle.

The girls did not do well sleeping together and Emily wouldn't settle down after waking at 5am.  So I grabbed her and we settled into the glider for some rocking and singing.  Two hours later we were still there...a tired mama and a snoozing Emily.

Brendan delights in the chance to play Minecraft when he's with the cousins, and luckily they have enough handheld devices to include him.  We're all about getting the kids outside playing, but sometimes it's nice to have a little of this too!

We headed to the park for a little walking and playing.  Above, Alyssa played in the rocks with Emily.

Marci swinging.

Charlie loved the huge trees at the park and helped get the other kids interested in them. (Brendan and Charlie are at the right of the base of the tree.)

Lets go for a walk!

Jill brought along some crackers to feed the fish.

Charlie, feeding the fish.

Wood chips are way more fun!

Marci and Brendan looking for minnows, frogs, turtles, or anything else they thought would be around.

Alyssa, checking out the sunfish under the floating dock.

Back at Jill and Chucks, we were having some big laughs.

Jill made Brad and I lunch.  *Sigh*  Eggplant panini's, how I love thee! (And Jill!)
