Music has the ability to speak to the soul. My Mom2 (Brad's mom) had us listen to the song "Blessings" by Laura Story, which she had heard in church one Sunday around the time of my diagnosis. This song struck me to the very core, and listening to it has become part of Brad and I's nightly rituals together (as well as several heated rounds of Family Feud...yes, we know we're dorks.)
