Our baby girl turned 1 on Saturday. We were in the cities for Brad and I to go out with my Great-Aunt Mary Friday evening and for my cousin's wedding on Saturday. To celebrate Megan's birthday we had my family over to Cathy's and we had pizza and cupcakes. Then my family and I headed to the wedding and Brad got to spend the afternoon and evening with the kids (I called during Brendan's nap and Brad was in the middle of playing tea-party with Megan...how cute is that?!) I can't believe she's already one year old! Happy Birthday, Megan!

Megan's cupcakes read, "MEGAN IS 1!" She couldn't take her eyes off the candle, and Brendan helped her blow it out.
Mmmmm...cupcakes (AND frosting...guess we've loosened the restrictions since Brendan was one.)

Megan thought it was great when we all started cheering for her, and she began clapping as well.

Megan also got to enjoy a piece of the traditional jello cake that my mom makes. She and Brendan each dug into a piece on Sunday night when we got home. She definately enjoyed it!
