We've had a busy weekend (our first weekend home in a long, long time!): putting away summer playthings, trimming/weeding/raking, getting out fall and Halloween decorations, trying on various Halloween costumes (okay, that was all Brendan), carving jack-o-lanterns, and roasting pumpkin seeds. What a great weekend!
Brendan couldn't wait to get his hands inside his pumpkin...he loved "the guts."

The completed jack-o-lanterns: Megan's is the smiley face (four little teeth and big eyes...just like her!) and Brendan's is Swiper the Fox (from Dora the Explorer...don't even ask us why he wanted Swiper...we don't know...but we did it anyway!)
