Aunt Jill, Uncle Chuck and cousins Alyssa, Marci and Charlie came to visit Gene & Mary (Grandma and Grandpa) for the weekend, which meant that we got to see them too! They stopped by to play on the way to Madison and we all enjoyed the time spent visiting and playing. Megan slept the best she ever has (8pm to 5:30am) after the visit, so they're definately welcome to come and play anytime!

Alyssa and Marci are complete daredevils, and the activity here that caught their attention was climbing the snowdrifts to the top of Grandma & Grandpa's shed and sliding/jumping off.
It was decided that the kids needed a snow fort to play in, and there were some mega-drifts to make them out of in the back yard. Chuck and Brad did all the hard work of shoveling the fort out and making the snow slide down into it. Chuck even made steps for the kids to climb up to the top of the slide. In the above picture, Chuck is shoveling and Charlie is checking it out.

Marci and Alyssa were a little more adventurous in finding ways of going down the slide. The "heads first into the bottom pile of snow" was Marci's favorite.
Brad had to try out the slide too...
...and so did Chuck.
This is a more full shot of the fort and slide. Marci (in the pink) is at the top of the slide, Brendan (in the blue jacket) is waiting his turn, and Charlie (in the camo) is working his way to the top. We all had a great time in this last weekend of snow.
