We celebrated Easter at the Crea farm this year. We arrived on Friday evening about 10pm, ate a snack and headed to bed. On Saturday we enjoyed dad's Canadian Breakfast, then dyed eggs and celebrated Emily's birthday. On Sunday we enjoyed some outside fun, spent some time four-wheeling in the field behind my parents' house, searched for Easter baskets, and sat down to an Easter Dinner of pineapple-glazed ham, cheesy potatoes, cauliflower salad, steamed green beans, rolls and Cathy's homemade cheesecake. We missed Lauren, but it was nice to spend time together. Happy Easter, everyone!
This year we tried dyeing eggs with food coloring and shaving cream. I didn't really think it would work, but it did!
Brad got in on the egg coloring action too!

Emily, getting some help with her egg.
Halfway through we switched to regular egg dye, for a little bit of variety.
Brad, reading a bedtime story to the kids.
Alexa, laying a sweet and slobbery one on Brendan.
And Emily gets a big kiss from Alexa too. All three kids couldn't get enough of their cousin.
Chris and Liz
Emily was happy to get to dig into her Easter basket on Easter morning.
Happy Easter from Emily, Brendan, and Megan (at home with their Easter baskets).
