My dad called a few weeks ago regarding some Gophers Basketball tickets he had that he wanted to share with Brad and I. Who's going to refuse Gopher's Basketball tickets and access to their Club Room? Not us! So, to the cities we headed! We had been trying to do an overnight at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Oak Park Heights for the last year and it turned out that they were going to be home for the weekend, so we stayed overnight with them, much to the excitement of Brendan and Megan. The Gophers played Illinois and it was a good game. Brad and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere at The Club Room and getting to spend some time with my parents. And the kids did great with my Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Greg and cousins Rebecca, Matthew and Nicholas. Brendan still talks every day about playing tanks with Matthew on Wii. And Megan hauls out the little step-ladder so she can take the picture of herself and Maggie (their dog) off the fridge to haul around the house. We all had a wonderful time! On Sunday, we headed to church with my family and then had lunch at my Grandma's. It was a quick morning/afternoon, but it was so good to see everyone!
