The Hall Wedding
Angie and Tom got married! It was a wonderful whirlwind of a weekend, with both Brad and I in the wedding and my parents and sisters watching the kids. We had the rehearsal, grooms dinner, and setup on Friday night, and the wedding and reception on Saturday. It was wonderful to spend time with Brad and my high school friends and not worry about the kids. This was one of the best weddings I've been to (and I'm not just saying that because I got to be me, instead of mommy, for a couple of evenings), but because it was one of the most laid-back and thoroughly loving occasions I've been to. And I will never, ever forget how amazing Tom's speech was after dinner...I laughed...I cried...We couldn't be happier for them! (Thanks, Mom, for taking most of the pictures!)
Playing round-robin with our names during the rehearsal (l->r: Angie, Tom, Angie's parents (Sue and George), Brad and D.J.)
My sister, Lauren, was kind enough to do my hair and make-up on Saturday morning. While I was busy getting pampered, Brendan decided he wanted to style hair too, and Nona got to be his subject. You're such a good sport, Nona!
More pampering...Cat's painting my toenails to match my dress.
The finished product...good job, Lauren!
The ladies of the bridal party (l->r: Hailey (junior bridesmaid and Angie's niece), Cassie (Tom's sister), Julie K. (high school friend), myself (high school friend), Julie V. (high school friend), Leah (high school friend), Anna (Angie's sister), Lilly (flower girl and Angie's niece), and Alicia (Angie's sister)) Notice that all the dresses are different, as well as the hairstyles. Ang just picked the color and length of the dress and told us to do what we wanted. What a laid-back bride!

Brendan and his buddy Alex (Julie and D.J.'s son.) These two were adorable (and pretty inseparable) the whole night.

Megan and I. Poor Megs was fighting off a cold and was pretty tired out by this time.
