Weekend at the Nelson's/Apple Picking/Sherry and Brian's Wedding
We made our way to the cities for my cousin, Sherry's, wedding. We stayed overnight at Jill and Chuck's, then went to an apple orchard with them on Saturday morning, headed to my sister, Cathy's, house to get ready, then went to the wedding. After the wedding we dropped the kids at the Pedro's house and headed to the reception. After the reception we got the kids, then headed back to Jill and Chuck's to stay overnight again. We went to church the next morning, then I headed to Woodbury with my good friend, Julie Kearney, to be fitted for bridesmaid dresses for Angie and Tom's wedding. After a quick late lunch/early supper with my girlfriends Julie and I headed back to Chaska, then Brad, the kids and I headed for home. Quite the weekend!
Brendan and Charlie played Hungry, Hungry Hippo (which Brendan then decided definately had to go on his Christmas list!)
Brendan, Marci and Alyssa peeked at the rabbit at the apple orchard.
Apple-picking!! They only had Haraldson apples available on the morning we went, but they tasted great (yes, we're bad and we snuck a taste.) Each of the kids had a bag, and they went to town.

Megan and I.
The apple orchard, and surrounding fields and and vineyard, was just beautiful. This field, with a backdrop of fall colors, was right across from where we were picking.

We're going on a hayride!
I thought this sign was funny...
They had an old-fashioned wagon for the kids to play on. Brendan, Marci and Alyssa jumped right up and took turns "driving" the wagon.
