Fall Festival 2010

We headed to the Crea Farm on Saturday for my parents' annual picnic. Brendan had a wonderful time playing with all the kids (and so did Brad!), we got to go down and visit Farmer Dave's animals, and we roasted marshmallows around the bonfire. We even got to see our friends, Angie and Tom, who are newly engaged (YAY!!) and stopped out to see us. I was very touched when she asked me to be a bridesmaid...I can't wait! On Sunday we enjoyed a lunch of my dad's famous egg rolls and fried rice, before heading back on home.

Matthew gave Brendan a ride on the lawn mower. Brendan can't even say Matthew's name without smiling, he adores him so much.

Brendan and Jeremiah, checking out the pigs at Farmer Dave's farm.

My Uncle Greg, petting the goat-that-looks-like-a-cow that was following him around.

The boys feeding the goats.

Farmer Dave let Brendan sit on his horse, so Brendan got his first mini horse ride.

Brendan and the horse, sizing each other up (pretty sure the horse won...)

My sister, Cathy, fosters dogs and she brought along a new pup named Ellie. Megan thought that Ellie's cage was great and wanted to go in very badly. I ended up letting her (just because my mom has pictures of me in our dog's cage at that age and I thought it would be kinda cute...) This is the best picture I got...for some reason my camera wouldn't work very well (must have been Brad's mind saying, "Take her out, take her out!!" :)

All the kids (Brad included), playing football (which they did ALL afternoon!)

My cousins' (Jerry and Jen's) son, Sebastian, playing with Megan.

Everyone relaxing to a movie (my dad is holding John Michael and Brendan.)

A really sweet hug for Zizzi Cathy and Nona.

Brendan was so tired on the way home Sunday that he fell asleep with a sucker in his mouth (which I promptly removed, after taking the picture.)

Megan was wide awake and playful after a nap in the car.
