We actually found a time to get together! Some of my high school girlfriends and I have been talking for years about getting together for a picnic in the summer. This year we just scheduled it at Luke and Leah's in Monticello. We visited while the kids played and swam, and then we all had a picnic. There's nothing like old friends!

Brendan and Alex, playing in the bigger pool. Notice the naked butt on my son. His bathing suit was a little too big and it kept sliding down, so he pulled it off. You have to love when kids are at the age that they just don't care about nakedness!

Brendan had to go to the bathroom, and my genius husband thought that since he already didn't have his bottoms on he could just find a quiet corner and let him go outside. So, here's Brendan's first (of many, I'm sure!) time going to the bathroom outside. Who invited these people?
After the kids ate, went swimming, and get into their pajamas they headed back outside to play on the playset while the guys played cornhole (bean bags.)
