Visiting Dean and Becky's Farm
Visiting Dean & Becky's Farm, 4-13-09
Becky & Dean had just gotten 250 broiler chicks, so we checked out the chicken coop. Brendan was amazed by all the chicks, but he wasn’t too interested in touching one.
A mama ewe and her hours-old lamb.
Farmer Dean feeding all the expectant ewe’s.

The Ewe’s who had already given birth were separated from those that were expecting. The little lambs (who were no more than a week old) raced around in a big herd, stretching their little limbs.
A couple of the lambs (2-3 days old) who were very curious about me taking pictures.
Brendan and sweet mama-to-be Lucinda, the goat. Brendan wasn’t too sure about Lucinda either, but he was fine being around her, as long as Brad was holding him.
Lucinda, the goat. She ended up giving birth to twins a couple days later.
Brendan on the big tractor.
Brendan still on the big tractor. He played on the tractor for at least ten minutes, and when he was done, he was in a much more adventurous mood.
Brendan on the smaller tractor inside one of the greenhouses. Dean will fill this house with several kinds of tomatoes and green peppers. We can’t wait to come back when everything is growing and meet all the new lambs. Thanks Becky and Dean!
