Days of Spring

Brendan likes to use the kitchen rugs as blankets when he's playing on the floor. Today he wanted his snack while covered by the rug. I just went with it...what the heck...it makes him happy!

Brendan eating a popsicle, hanging out on the floor with Mama (15 weeks pregnant.)

On the day it was in the 80's Brendan and I played outside most of the afternoon. After supper we headed outside and went for a long walk. Brendan loves copying what we're doing, so both Brad and Brendan have walking sticks and we're headed on our way.

Here are the two peas-in-a-pod just beginning their walk...

There's a path through the woods by our house, so we usually walk down the gravel road and come back through the woods. Brendan loves walking in the woods and will pick up any stick or item of interest he can (needless to say, our walks aren't usually short!)

Another haircut for Brendan. He had this huge puff-ball on the back of his head and his top hair was growing low onto his face. Brad and I shared the hair-cutting responsibilities, figuring we could each blame the other if it turned out badly.
We thought we did a pretty good job. And Brendan sat very well for us. He looks so much more like a grown-up boy with his hair all cut straight.
Brendan taking a break from t-ball with Dada to watch the tractor (it's behind one of the trees, you can't see it easily). Brendan goes crazy when the tractors come around, so it's nice that we have fields on two sides of the house, so we'll get plenty of tractor-watching in this spring and summer.
