The product of our snowstorm.
In the end, we went to the cities as originally planned...just a few hours behind schedule (the kids had a late start because of the snow.) We were very blessed that Julie's (my sweet and understanding study coordinator) schedule was open in the afternoon and Brad's Aunt Lisa (who was my driver for the day...thanks, Lisa!) was available throughout the afternoon. So, we made it to the cities and back with no problems. Another treatment under my belt!
And an evening of Supper With Santa with the girls to boot! (Brendan decided he was too old-the cutoff age was 7 or 8...we never did find out for sure-so he stayed home with Grandpa.)
Brad, Megan, Emily, and I enjoyed an evening of meeting Santa, having supper, crafts, and decorating cookies, while I tried to be careful of my lower cell count and refrained from hugging too many friends (not all friends, people...I'm weak, and I love hugs!)
So, the day ended up having gone well. One more trip too the cities done. Getting to spend a lucky afternoon visiting with Lisa. My body is still cooperating and I was kept on the study for another week. Travel conditions that allowed us to get to the cities and back without any problem. And a Supper With Santa tradition kept that allowed me to spend the evening out with most of my family, surrounded by friends and the holiday spirit. Let it snow!

Megan did NOT need help (I was informed).
The best part about decorating a cookie? Eating it!
