(Good thing Brad is game for this, because I most definitely am NOT. All of those dramatic stories about running over kids' feet, etc. race around in my brain and make me NO FUN!)
Brendan is finally learning to ride without training wheels. We forgot to bring his bike when we were in the cities last summer, so he's a little behind where he wants to be, but is quickly catching on.

Brad and I decided to meet for a picnic lunch at the playground today, as a surprise for the girls (while Brendan is at school). About five minutes after we arrived, five buses loaded with children from surrounding towns pulled up. The playground and picnic area became packed! Of all the days!
