I heard back from my GYN Oncologist's office today and the pathology report is clean. Hooray! Even though they were expecting it to be, it's a big, huge, GIGANTIC sigh of relief!
Surgery went well and we made it back to Montevideo on Tuesday afternoon. I've been getting lots of sleep and my family is taking excellent care of me. Gene and Mary took the girls to their house for a couple of days, which has been a blessing because I want to cuddle and play with them, and instead I've gotten a couple of days to just rest my body. I'm incredibly thankful for that decision, as hard as it is to be away from them.
I was able to take off some of the bandaging today, and, although everything is very sore, I would say that it's getting better each day. Top that off with the good pathology news, and this is a beautiful day!
