We were all able to attend Brad's softball game this past Thursday (Brendan was at one other earlier game, but because of the late start time I wasn't able to go with the girls) and we all love going and cheering dad on. We weren't sure if the weather would cooperate, but we made it through one whole game before it started to pour. We made it to the van just before the downpour started (leaving Brad at the field for his second game), we dropped some friends at home so they wouldn't have to get drenched while walking, and headed home. It was the weirdest weather because there was an actual line on the highway where the downpour had started. On one side were huge puddles and standing water because of the extreme downpour, and on the other side it was completely dry and the sun quickly came out. Brad met us at home and ended up taking Brendan and Megan back to the fields (at their request) to finish the last game and I put Emily to bed. Quite an interesting night!

Emily, enjoying all the commotion from the safety of her stroller. She played with Brad's water bottle for most of the game, with the occasional wave at her dad.
The kids quickly got antsy, so Brendan pitched a few balls to Megan behind the bleachers.
Brad, up to bat.
