July 2014

Here are some family pictures from July 2014...

Brendan, doing some practice hitting.

My garden is coming along nicely.
If only I could figure out a way to slow down those dang weeds!

We rotate toys at our house, which cuts down on the clutter and helps the kids to better enjoy the toys they have out.  Above, I took out the sit n' spin, and Emily had a blast zooming around and around on it.

Brendan wanted an early morning cuddle with Dad.  We take 'em when we can get 'em around here!

I was in the middle of dressing Emily when she saw the above Brendan and Dad cuddle. Like any good sister, she needed in on the action too!

Brad at softball.

Brendan could just about be classified as Brad's team's mascot.  He alternated between spending each game like this (above, watching Brad run the bases), on the bench chewing on sunflower seeds with the guys, or...

...like this, playing with whomever was at the game too.

Brad, swinging for the fences.

Outside drawing time!

We have a set reading time after lunch, before the girls go down for naps.  Above, Brendan is enjoying one of his library books.

Emily loves reading to her kitty and baby.

Watch out, Mom, I'm going to bubble you!

Bubbles and nets...what a good combination!

More softball!  Go, Dad, go!

A pause in the run-around fun of Dad's softball game.

A beautiful sunset across the back field.

Who said softball isn't dangerous?

A lunchtime picnic!

It was a beautiful day, so Brad met us for lunch at the playground.
I think Brendan's a little big for that swing!

Emily loves to swing.  It's a far cry from the little baby who would shriek if the swing moved at all.  Time goes so quickly!
